On March 15, 2020 "Covid" raced through our community and in an effort to curb the pandemic, First Christian Church like so many others had to close their doors to the public.  As soon as the mandatory closure orders expired, FCC reopened its doors on the first Sunday of June, 2020. 

It was a very difficult time for so many and the word of God was needed by so many just for encouragement, strength and reassurance.  At a time when we need to be together, a pandemic kept us apart.  At FCC, our Senior Minister, John Chick, began a series of Facebook posts called "Reflections from My Rocker". These short devotionals gave us a way to keep in touch with the word of God and continue to grow in study.
